Scaly Leg is a disease of chickens and other birds. It is caused by a parasitic mite, Knemidocoptes mutans. The mite usually burrows under the scales in the bird’s legs but may also infest other areas such as the comb or wattles of chickens.

This specifically blended formulation is designed to effectively control the scaly leg parasites. Contains a synergised blend of natural oils and repellents that forms a protective coating to smother and suffocate the mites and also acts as a deterrent against further infestation. It will also immediately relieve any itching or irritations.

Directions for Use:

Shake well. Remove eggs, feed and drinking water before use.
FOR SMALL BIRDS:  Apply 1-2 trigger pulls per leg.
FOR AVERAGE SIZED BIRDS: Apply 5 trigger pulls per leg.
FOR LARGE BIRDS: Apply 10 trigger pulls per leg.

Spray directly on the leg/feet, comb and wattles to wet the infested areas. Repeat every 5-6 days (to break the reproductive cycle) until the infestation is gone. Can also be used for prevention and general maintenance once every 3 months. Do not use on feathers.
